Minnehaha County Public Safety Building

Metro Communications is on the first floor of the Public Safety Building located between the Courthouse and the Minnehaha County Jail. Metro operates 24 hours a day on 3 shifts. Each shift consists of a Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, Training Officers and Dispatchers. Employees are considered essential personnel. This means regardless of circumstances such as severe weather conditions, our Communications Center will always be staffed.
